Ken Bassett’s Runabout - Rascal

2018 15 rascal with Yamaha 70 hp fuel injected outboard. This boat was just completed and now ready for sale. Built from plans in my work shop. The boat is a cold mould construction using the west system epoxy and a thin Fiberglas finish. The boat is absolutely gorgeous. Full mahogany construction. Full instrumentation The boat has had one test run and ran perfectly. Very fast and stable. Approximately 60mph.This is the 4th boat I have built. I enjoy the process very much and have very little time to actually use them. I love the project and hate to let them go, but I have a limited amount of space to store all these beautiful pieces of art. So I build them. Put all of myself into them. Then eventually sell them.I love cars as much as I do boats and now in the middle of full restoration. I honestly dont have the time to use this boat. I would love to sell her to someone who would appreciate how many hours has gone into the build. Some of the photos are of my past projects.
