The distinctive look is New Jersey designer and builder Fred McCarthys trademark. The Jersey builders no-nonsense, well-equipped boats are admired and wanted.The Jersey Yacht company has held an unwavering reputation for building a quality boat. The bow is tall, with a sharp entry and plenty of flare. The foredeck is wide and open, overlooked by the blanked-out windshield. The hard chine, solid-fiberglass Jersey rides a modified-Vee hull with 10 degrees of transom deadrise. The 36-footers displays remarkable elevation to the cockpit level in a graceful curve that begins along the cabin side. The well-proportioned cabin is topped by a flybridge with seating and a helm station.

The 36 Dawn is prized by anglers for its spacious and well-equipped cockpit, which includes spacious room for a fighting chair, a molded tackle center, recessed fish boxes and a transom door. The Jersey is under-rated and little-known, but people who own them love them. McCarthy was ahead of his time.

"Blarney" is a classic convertible / sportfish. Her unbroken sheer gently sweeps from the sea safe bow to a large cockpit ready to boat the big one from any of its 3 sides. A fully functional fly bridge thats has seating for 5 adults gives an uninterrupted view at all times for the captain, while adding another outdoor room for the cruising enthusiast. Jersey Dawn hull was designed for offshore with a sharp entry, hard chine leading to a stable stern for comfortable trolling in the troughs and stability at anchor.

From the large cockpit entering the air conditioned salon through the varnished teak door on the starboard side. The salon air accommodations begin with a sofa and room for a barrel chair or more. Then proceed forward down 2 steps on the starboard side to enter the galley. Her full kitchen is equipped with refrigerator and stove, microwave icemaker, and is ready to cook for the family. To the port side is a dinette that converts to a bed that can sleep two. Opposite the dinette is a full head. Step down one step forward is an island berth with storage below and cedar lined lockers.

Her engine room is mechanic friendly. Power is a pair of economical and dependable Cat 3208.

You can enjoy anything you want with a boat like this. Jersey Dawn is designed in beautiful proportion and recognizable at anchor. This will still be a classic in 20 or 30 years.
