Jefferson Aft Cabin Cruiser

This is the least expensive Jefferson you will find out there. She is in need of some mechanical work but is solid and runs fine. This would make a very nice live aboard or Florida Keys Condo, especially considering the asking price. Market value is 76K-81K according to insurance providers. Plus the bottom was just done! You could work on the boat while having a place to crash, party, fish and dive.

So here are the good details:

This vessel has a full beam (15) aft cabin with queen size bed, full bath (with tub), closet, TV, washer/dryer hookup, closet and plenty of draws, cabinets and storage. The forward cabin also has a queen size bed, bathroom with shower, head, closet, TV and plenty of storage.

The kitchen consists of a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 3 burner electric, stove/oven, double sink and a dinette that converts into another sleeping area. The salon is spacious and comes with matching, like new leather love seat, chair and ottoman. Salon also has lots of storage including a TV hook up. All cabinetry and teak are in OK condition, there are signs of some old water damage but are now dry.

The hull is solid with no blistering and just had a complete bottom job (September), including new zincs and the props reconditioned. The hull shines and is not chalky, but has some scratches. There is an upper and lower helm station. Upper helm cushions are in poor condition. There is a Bimini and canvas enclosure. The glass and canvas are in very good condition. The dash gelcoat is chipping. The salon floor comes up in 4 big panels with lots of space in the engine room. I just replaced 3 8D starting batteries; one for each motor and one for the generator. All the mechanicals in this boat are very easy to access. The vessel is powered by twin Cummins 6BTAs and run well with 4xxxx hours on them.

Here are the bad and the ugly: The generator runs but is not making electric. The A/C, battery charger, parallel switch, converter and a few miscellaneous pumps are not working at the time of this write up. That being said I am working on fixing these one at a time and the price will of course increase as these items are replaced. So if you are a handy person and want to steal this boat at a great price; now is the time to act.
