1981 Island Trader Ketch Motor Sailer:Galley Down Two Stateroom Model - USD$150,000 OBO (Fulton Marina)You buy my yacht.... you are responsible to relocate Wind Song at your own expense if you prefer to move her.Re the pictures.... starts departing the Aransas Marine Ways, Inc. shipyard (Dinko's) slip Sunday morning on the 2nd day of September 2018 and arriving Fulton Marina..... interior and on deck pictures taken a week before departing the shipyard.S/V Wind SongThe purpose of the purchase of Wind Song in 2011 was at the time to prepare her to sail to Australia in due course as my then alive business partner, an Australian gentleman wanted to "sail back" to Australia. We had a Welsh sailing master that was to Captain the voyage down under but sailing plans were cancelled by myself as in May 2016, my Australian business partner passed away. Had been a live aboard on Wind Song for five years. Moved off Wind Song New Year's Eve 2016. Moved back on board August 4th 2019.Re Hurricane HarveyIn May 2017 I hired a local fiberglass repairman and his crew to firstly paint the deck and varnish the teak when it was discovered Wind Song had soft spots in her fore deck. The fiberglass crew worked off and on in June and August and the deck was repaired and sealed. The stainless steel (SS) stanchion rails had previously been removed by the fiberglass crew in order to sand and prepare the toe rails for varnishing. The SS stanchion rails are still off. The rear teak stanchion rail is still off, currently in storage.July 2018: I hired a father/son team to remove the destroyed main sail, the destroyed new mizzen sail, the stack pack lines; the staysail furler and the main wooden boom. (The main and mizzen sails are stowed in storage as the hardware (boxcars) will be needed for new sails).A new bimini cover I had custom made by a local gentleman in 2016 had been removed by the fiberglass crew when Hurricane Harvey was upgraded from a category one to a three, then a category four. The same gentleman made a new mizzen sail, a new mizzen stack pack and a new mainsail stack pack. (Stack Packs destroyed).August 2018, I reinstalled/attached the bimini cover and the port and aft screens. The starboard screens are currently stowed in the V Berth.NOTE: Wind Song had been ready to paint, having been meticulously masked with tape and paper when the storm was approaching. There was not enough time to remove the new mizzen sail and new mizzen sail stack pack nor the main sail and new main sail stack pack. The aforementioned were destroyed in the storm. The Alado Roller Furler and Staysail furler were damaged and are both currently in storage. The two wind generators on the mizzen were destroyed. (Removed, currently in storage.)The two solar panels mounted on the Fore Spar davits were destroyed. (Davits removed, currently in storage, both solar panels blew off in the storm).A new forward wooden hatch cover needs to be made as the original blew off in the storm. The day of evacuation, Wind Song was hauled out at the shipyard, set on blocks and remained in the sling. She rode out the storm in the sling. During the storm Wind Song and the lift moved across the shipyard (concrete) and struck another barge on "the hard". Wind Song rubbed on her forward portside and caused rub rail, toe rail and minimal surface hull damage in the "rubbed" area. The forward portside galley porthole glass was shattered at impact and both portside V Berth portholes glass also needs to be replaced as is now cracked as a result of the impact.===============Island Trader Ketch Motor Sailer - Galley Down Two Stateroom ModelFor Sale - Price: USD$ 150,000 OBOVESSEL DATALOA: 52.0LWL: 39.8Beam: 11.0Depth: 11.0Draft: 6.6Displacement: 48,400 lbsBallast: 8,500 lbs.Sail area: 642 square feetBuilder: Marine Trader, TaiwanDesigner: William GardnerYear built: 1981Hull No.: ETY46119M81JOfficial No.: 651964 USCG DocumentationTX Number: 2645ENGross Tons: 37Net Tons: 33Berthed: Fulton, TexasThrough holes, Waterline and Prop cleaned February 21st 2017.Haul Out Bottom Paint Job and new zincs - September 2013 and February 2018.Garmin GMR 18 Digital Signal Processor 4kW Marine RadarGarmin GPSMAP 740S GPS Chart Plotter with SounderGarmin GPS MAP 4208 GPS Chart Plotter w/USA Coastal Maps (Salon)Garmin Echo Depth FinderMain Aluminum Mast Permanently Keel Stepped late 2016.Mizzen Aluminum Mast Permanently Deck Stepped late 2016.New Bimini Sunbrella Pacific Blue Cover/Screens/Dodger late 2016.New Mizzen Sail (Destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017).New Main Sail & Mizzen Sail Stack Packs late 2016, destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017.New Main & Mizzen Lazy Jacks late 2016 destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017.120 Genoa Head Sail with Alado Nautical Furler, damaged via Hurricane Harvey August 2017, currently in storage.New Stay Sail destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017.Genoa (Spinnaker) Stowed on board.Lewmar Windlass and Lewmar WinchesStainless Steel "ForeSpar" Davits - New 2014 (Removed July 2018 - currently in storage)Swim/Dive Platform with LadderHookamax Dive SystemTwo 200W Photovoltaic Poly UL Solar Panel 12V 24V (Mounted on Davits) - New 2013 (Destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017)Four Deck Boxes Mounted Under BiminiTwo Mizzen Mounted Rutland Wind Generators (Destroyed via Hurricane Harvey August 2017)Marquipt Aluminum Sea StairsTeak Toe RailsCustom Made Phifertex Exterior Window Shades - New 2016 ( Stored in V Berth)Two Horizontal 30# Propane Tanks - New 2015 (to be fore deck mounted, port and starboard of main mast).Magma Chefs Mate Connoisseur Series Gas Grill with Sunbrella CoverFour Large Bumpers w/Custom Made Surlast Sail Blue Covers - New 2016Safety equipment: Approximately 6 PFD, 2 safety throw rings, on 50 ft tether lines, on each side of stern of boat (to be remounted). All running lights Coast Guard approved.Electric horn on forward starboard cabin. 6" brass bell again to be mounted on mizzen mast.
