I am selling my 1957 Mahogany Inland Speedboat with the original 50HP White Cloud 4 Cylinder Mercury Outboard engine. I am also including an additional 85HP White Cloud 6 Cylinder Mercury Outboard engine. I purchased this boat in November of 2007 from the son of the original owner Dr. James Bratcher. The boat was originally kept in Sherwood, MI and then left to Dr. Bratcher's son who was also a practicing physician in Shelbyville, TN. The boat was always stored indoors with a high quality cover. The 50HP engine runs and was winterized so it will require normal service and maintenance prior to use. The additional 85HP engine is in good condition but requires further service in order to bring it into running condition. The boat has 100% of its original untouched varnish finish which is in average condition for its age and can either be left as-is or lightly sanded and refinished with a high quality marine varnish. The boat has an original factory fiberglass bottom over the mahogany hull which is also in good condition but could use a new coat of bottom paint. The hull, transom, deck, and interior are all in good condition. Included in the sale is an original 1957 Mercury Outboard tachometer that I intended to install next to the speedometer. The trailer is not original to the boat but is included but you will need to provide a license plate. The boat is currently registered with a clear Massachusetts title in hand. During my research I was only able to locate one other version of this boat which is still held by the owner of the Inland Boat Company who I personally spoke with a number of years ago. The Inland Boat Company is still in business. As you can see from the photographs, this boat came from the factory with original mahogany fins. It is very rare and boats of this general vintage with the 1950's style fins are also very rare. The boat is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, and must be removed from its current location by no later than 12/26 due to the sale of my house and closing date of 12/28. The boat is located in Albrightsville, PA and will be available for inspection upon request. A $500 Non-Refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours after the auction ends and payment in full is required within 3 days after the auction ends. If the deposit or payment in full is not made on time the boat will be immediately re-listed for sale. Also, if the boat is not picked up by 12/26 the deposit will be forfeited and the boat re-listed. Sorry, no exceptions since it has to be sold to the highest bidder and picked up by no later than 12/26 due to the upcoming house closing. I hope someone else will enjoy being the owner of this boat as much as I have and thank you for bidding
