MR. GRAY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA LOVED WOODEN BOATS. HE OWNED A 1942 CHRIS CRAFT RUNABOUT. WHAT HE DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE WATER LEAKS, ACCESSABILITY TO PARTS AND SERVICE.

MR GRAY DECIDED HE WOULD BUILD HIS OWN WOODEN BOATS. 2 BOATS WERE DERIVED FROM ORIGINAL CHRIS CRAFT PLANS WITH MINOR MODIFICATIONS.

HE WENT TO THE THAILAND BUILDER HOGAN MARINE AND HAD4 26' INSPARATIONS AND 5 18' ECLIPSE BUILT

THE HULL CONSTRUCTION IS MARINE PLYWOOD PINNED AND SCREWED, THE DECK AND HULL IS COMPOSIT OF A OVERLAY OF TEAKWOOD AND MAHAGOANY, SEALED BY USE OF A "CLEAR WEST SYSTEMS" OF EPOXY/RESIGN
