Forall of those interestedhere isone last shot at sellingbefore the winter, or else I will cover until the spring
This is a 1954 Hinckley Roustabout Cedar boat that was speciallybuilt as a Yacht club launch. It was last in the water three years ago and then stored indoors up until this past June. The motor is a 4-107 Perkins.Injection pump was apparently rebuilt about 5 or so years ago.I tried to prime and start it but couldn't get it to run.It does turn over and is not frozen Boat/hull is in very good shape.Prior owner took very good care of it and did many repairs. He had gotten it from the yacht club back in the early 80's and used every year until three years agoThe boat does need bottom paint stripped and hull needs to be sealed up due to sitting/shrinking. there are also two spots where board ends seems to be a little sprung, but only an 1/8" not very noticeable But overall nice andsound. I've added more pics of bottom and cockpit of boat.
This is a very beautiful boat and may be one of the last ones in existence.Very functional and maneuverable, and seats a lot ofpeople. Lever steering linkageto the rudder makes for quick rudder turns. Engine box looks to be recent and was built and glassedproperly inside and out with gussets in all corners. Console could use new gauge panel and electronics. Has functional bilge pumps. Please contact me if you would like to come and look at boat. I have a wooded cradle for it and could load on flatbed trailer and deliver it for a fee.
Please feel free to call and discuss or set up a time to come and take a look
Thanks
Mike
