Rare and hard to find in this original condition. The good is that the boat looks amazing up close. Runs perfect. Interior is as new. This was part of a boat collection owned by a friend. This was the pride of his collection taking it to boat shows up and down the East Coast. He used it locally as well. The bad is the boat will need a bottom. There is a fair amount of dryed wood on the outer layer of the plywood bottom. This is not as complicated a job if you have the room to do it as it is not a planked bottom. There would be ways to patch it as it has patches in some areas and had been used like that. The chrome and hardware is excellent. These boats are rare and hard to find. I have seen them sell in the 25-30 thousand dollar range needing nothing except a new home. I think given what the boat needs I have it fairly priced. If you read about Andrew Jackson Higgins his firm played a major role in the war and then in building runabouts after the war which not many were produced. The Gray Marine 105 runs fantastic and starts instantly. I am not desperate to sell it as eventually I can get to fixing it. I am open to reasonable offers. The others I have seen of this boat have not been up to this original perfect condition (less bottom repairs). I am assuming the interior has been redone at some point.
