1973 - Herreshoff Harbor Pilot Launch - A well built and well-found motor vessel ideal for daily endeavors and weekend pleasures. Constructed by skilled craftsmen, modern hand laid fiberglass materials, a real beauty!
It has a lifting Boom & Mast for Lobster or Crab pots hauling.
Updated Inboard diesel- Yanmar - 4 cylinder - low hours and runs great!
The Pilot is one of the rarest boats built on the Herreshoff Cat Hull.
This is the ultimate family weekend cruiser! You will certainly be getting thumbs up and waves while you are in the boat. It was used every summer in Nantucket for over 10 years to take a family out and around the island. They really enjoyed the boat and are hoping to find someone to enjoy the boat as much as they did.
Recent improvements listed below :
- Cooling Hoses (2016)
- New red gel coat on hull (Approximately 2009)
- Rebuilt Injection Pump (2016)
- New Bilge Pump (2016)
- New Batteries (2016)
- New fuel filters (2016)
- Oil change and oil filter (2016)
The engine has been gone through and anything that needed repair was replaced. This is a really nice boat! Keep in mind this boat is 40+ years old. It does have it's share of dings and the fiberglass does have a few blemishes, however it is quite solid!
