This is a hand made Whitehall rowing skiff from the original plans of Howard Chapelle. Reduced in size to a manageable 12' from the original plans of 14'7".Made of white cedar over laminated red cedar frames and white oak. Copper riveted throughout. Edge glued carvel planking. All bright work is Honduras Mahogany finished with Epoxy and Spar Varnish. Fully encapsulated and water tight. This is a perfect example of the classic, around since 1895. Rows wonderfully and can accept a small outboard if needed. Bronze oarlocks.
