"D'Princess" is one of the few Widebody Gulfstar 44 MK III's powered by Two 3208T Caterpillar 375 H.P diesels, with 1000 original hours, available on today's brokerage market. Only 25 hulls of this very popular design had the full beam aft deck air conditioned salon, with wing doors, and sliding aft bulkhead doors to the aft working deck. The galley, to port, is huge, bright, and airy with a very large starboard side L-shaped settee, and very large teak dining table. The sumptuous aft owner's cabin has more closet space than some condos, and is finished with the Gulfstar signature teak woodwork. The queen berth forward guest stateroom has its own head with a stall shower, and the engine room access foyer has additional storage, and is plumbed for an optional washer dryer. The port, or starboard wing doors enter the huge full beam aft deck air conditioned main salon which has sliding screened windows, a sliding glass door to the aft deck, and an opening door which leads to the flybridge which has a NEW ENCLOSURE, and is AIR CONDITIONED. Down 4 steps from the main salon leads you to the galley, and dining area which is surrounded by windows, and is another very accommodating social area. Forward of the galley level down 3 steps leads to the lower level foyer which contains additional storage, a separate access door to the engine room, an access door to the guest stateroom, and an access door to the guest head. The forward guest stateroom has a center line double bed, and an additional access door to the head. "D' Princess" has a huge amount of storage, a very large engine room, and multiple social areas with excellent ambient lighting.

Galley

The Gulfstar 44 has the largest galley of any 44 footer you will find. Across from the galley is a solid teak dining table which can accomodate 6 guests for formal dining.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is huge, richly finished in teak, and contains a 7 foot cedar lined hanging closet, as well as numerous drawers, and storage. To starboard is a seating area which has been converted to a portable office. The master stateroom head contains a Vacuflush toilet system, and large stall shower with an overhead deck hatch.

VIP Stateroom - Forward

The very private forward guest stateroom contains a centerline queen berth, private access to the guest head, which contains a dedicated shower area, and an additional access door from the lower level foyer area.

Deck Equipment

The deck area allows for safe side deck access to the main salon wing doors, a large foredeck with sun pad, and Marquipt folding boarding stairs.

Electrical

The electrical system is energized by shore power with an electric retrieval cord system, or the 12 volt battery banks with engine alternators, battery charger, and inverter system. Engine Room

The engine room is large, clean, and easily accessed through a sound insulated walk-through positive latch door. All ststems are easily serviced, and additional storage is abundant. The flybridge is air conditioned, and the full enclosure was new in 2009. The helm chair, aft bench seating, and extended "eyebrow" enclosure offer comfortable protection from the elements.

The Gulfstar Widebody replaced the original 44 motoryacht in 1986, and enjoyed a production run until Gulfstar was sold in 1988. The port, or starboard wing doors enter the huge full beam aft deck air conditioned main salon which has sliding screened windows, a sliding glass door to the aft deck, and an opening door which leads to the flybridge which has a NEW ENCLOSURE, and is AIR CONDITIONED. Down 4 steps from the main salon leads you to the galley, and dining area which is surrounded by windows, and is another very accommodating social area. Forward of the galley level down 3 steps leads to the lower level foyer which contains additional storage, a separate access door to the engine room, an access door to the guest stateroom, and an access door to the guest head. The forward guest stateroom has a center line double bed, and an additional access oor to the head. "D' Princess" has a huge amount of storage, a very large engine room, and multiple social areas with excellent ambient lighting.

Galley

The Gulfstar 44 has the largest galley of any 44 footer you will find. Across from the galley is a solid teak dining table which can accomodate 6 guests for formal dining.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is huge, richly finished in teak, and contains a 7 foot cedar lined hanging closet, as well as numerous drawers, and storage. To starboard is a seating area which has been converted to a portable office. The master stateroom head contains a Vacuflush toilet system, and large stall shower with an overhead deck hatch.

The very private forward guest stateroom contains a centerline queen berth, private access to the guest head, which contains a dedicated shower area, and an additional access door from the lower level foyer area.

Deck Equipment

The deck area allows for safe side deck access to the main salon wing doors, a large foredeck with sun pad, and Marquipt folding boarding stairs.

Electrical

The electrical system is energized by shore power with an electric retrieval cord system, or the 12 volt battery banks with engine alternators, battery charger, and inverter system. Engine Room

The engine room is large, clean, and easily accessed through a sound insulated walk-through positive latch door. All ststems are easily serviced, and additional storage is abundant. Flybridge

The flybridge is air conditioned, and the full enclosure was new in 2009. The helm chair, aft bench seating, and extended "eyebrow" enclosure offer comfortable protection from the elements.

Other Features

The Gulfstar Widebody replaced the original 44 motoryacht in 1986, and enjoyed a production run until Gulfstar was sold in 1988. Only 25 hulls of this refined design were produced, and are the most sought after model Gulfstar produced due to her expanded main salon, and other refinments to include the radar arch, and redesigned flybridge. It is difficult to find such a low hour model with the 375 HP Caterpillars, so make it a point to inspect "D'Princess" before choosing a lesser quality Asian built liveaboard cruiser.
