The Cabana has just been refit and refinished top to bottom, stem to stern in 2016 -2017 and launched June 2017. Exterior received a new finish from the decks down with Interlux 2 part Perfection. Bottom received 2 coats Seahawk bottom paint, new zincs and Propspeed on the running gear. The interior features solid 3/4" teak and holly decking throughout. In the pilothouse, all new upholstery and blinds 2016. The Galley was completely updated with leather bulkheads, new corrian tops, new microwave, new stove top, new washer/dryer, new stools and fresh refinish on all mahogany cabinets. The staterooms and head received fresh coats on the brite work. New matresses and new TV's. The engine room is detailed. Engines are freshly tuned and serviced, All batterys are new 2017. The Cabana cruises @ 10 mph and gets 4 mpg. With safety margin has a 2500 mile range. The builder of this boat, cruised an identical model from south Florida to Hawaii. The N37 has full walk-around decks with large aluminum handrails for safety. Cabana has the optional foredeck gates which ensure easy access to docks and catwalks, no matter what height. There is a huge swim platform with stout boarding ladder, aft cockpit H/C shower and foredeck storage boxes. Ground tackle includes bow pulpit with twin self-launching anchors, each on 300' of all-chain rode and anchor washdown. Anchors are hauled by a Maxwell 1500 12-volt horizontal windlass.
Cabana's mast folds easily forward onto the foredeck, allowing her to slip under all but the lowest bridges. On the mast are her radar antenna, VHF antennae, spreader lights, and GPS antenna. Her KVH dome sits on the coach roof next to the mast
Helm and Electronics
Cabana is truly "cruise-ready" with full electronics suite including:Furuno Navnetwith twin 15" glass touch-screens. Integrated into the chartplotter are autopilot, radar, and AIS. Also, Icom VHF and a Maretron color screen for the NMEA2000 data and weather information from the solid-state Airmar weather station.
Below the electronics are the Yanmar engine gauges.The touch screen panel hinges outward, allowing full access to the back of all electronics and wiring. Below the helm is the main electrical breaker panel which includes panels for 12-volt, 120-volt, and 240-volt electrical. The remote generator start panel are located here also.
Cabana's helm includes a comfortable drop-down helm seat with footrest. Opposite the helm is a two-person Navigator's bench. The chart table has storage beneath. The helm also includes aMarine sound system with four speakers in the corners of the deckhouse. The sound system plays DVDs through the drop-down, centerline flat-screen TV. Dockside cable, omnidirectional antenna, and KVH satellite TV complete a versatile and powerful entertainment system.
Saloon
The saloon features comfortable seating on two settees: A spacious L-settee to port with cocktail/dining table which converts to a comfortable queen berth and a starboard settee that converts to twin bunk beds and makes a perfect "watch berth" for relaxing during a night-time passage. All saloon furniture is covered in luxurious ultraleather (new 2016). Saloon windows all open and have screens, plus real-wood cherry blinds for privacy. Saloon doors each have three dogs for weather security. Under all saloon seating is massive storage, both "traps" and drawers - plus access through the saloon sole to the massive Bosun's Locker "basement" below. This area, accessed by a stairway, stretches 16 feet wide and six feet front-to-back, with 4 1/2 foot headroom.
Galley
The N37 has one of the best galleys you will ever see on a yacht under 100 feet long. Cabana features home-sized kitchen appliances, including a 23 c.f. SS refrigerator, 4-burner Kenyon cooktop, full-size microwave/convection oven,, Deco vented combo washer/dryer, solid surface countertops, double sink, and lots of storage in cabinets, drawers, and under the sole. Master Stateroom
Spacious and comfortable master stateroom in the bow with full 60" x 80" island queen bed and memory foam mattress. Two huge hanging lockers and plenty of drawer storage. Four opening SS portlights with screens, overhead hatch with Oceanair sliding screen/shade. She also features a 20 "flat screen TV that receives its signals from DVD, dockside cable, antenna, or KVH satellite.
Guest Stateroom
The guest room contains a settee with six storage drawers below, folding work desk, large hanging locker, and access to engine room through door. Settee converts to full double bed making a comfortable stateroom for guests.
Engine Room
Cabana's incredible engine room with 6' standing headroom is accessed through a door in the guest stateroom. Immediately to your port is a built-in workbench with toolbox, storage, and a mounted vise. Under the workbench is Cabana's 20-gallon marine hot water heater. She features a Maspower (Yanmar) 8kW generator showing only 1800 hours. The two 54 hp Yanmar naturally aspirated 4-cylinder diesels are in perfect condition and show the care and regular maintenance lavished upon them by the knowledgeable owner. Since this is a late Great Harbour,Cabana features a fiberglass sea chest incorporating ALL below waterline seacocks. Continuing around the engine room, there are dripless shaft seals, engine/generator automatic oil change system, Racor fuel polisher, Vacuflush vacuum generator, switchable Racor filter bank, and remote tank gauges. Everything is easy to access and labeled. This is truly a great engine room.
Head
CabanaT's large head features a stall shower that even the larger cruiser will feel comfortable in, Vacuflush toilet and vanity with medicine cabinet and storage. Solid surface countertop and Tank Tender waste tank panel.
