1962 Grady White 17.5' Hatteras. The boat has been restored on several different levels. The ribs have been replaced. The rest of the boat went through a restoration of the interior and exterior. This includes paint, varnish, interior, wiring, steering and full custom mooring cover and matching convertible top. The trailer is in excellent condition and supports the boat properly. The motor a 1959 Johnson 50 runs as new. It has been gone through from top to bottom. The powerhead was removed new bottom crankshaft seal installed, rebuilt carb. and later style reeds to improve running and fuel consumption. Rebuilt fuel pump, new ignition components, impeller and hpf gear oil. The boat has been in various boat shows winning awards in the outboard category. I worked on this boat for the prior owner for several years and purchased it from him. The boat has been used in fresh water. I cannot verify but have been told the serial number is in the first 50 boats produced by Grady White. This boat handles rough water and light chop easily without pounding. The hull design and ride quality is extraordinary compared to other lap planked boats. The boat is sold as is, no warranty and this is a cash transaction. Not interested in trades or opinions on value. For Sale locally as well. Currently the boat is in Western Maine and I intend to bring it to Connecticut in the next few weeks. I will consider selling without the motor if you have your own outboard.
