Here is a Beautiful Glass over Plywood 18ft wooden boat that was originally built in 1957.I have it 99% restored with lots of upgrades.She is a real looker, and one of a kind. She can go from a Gentleman's Runabout Racer to a Classic Cruiser in a flash.Restored: New bottom "I had two full length sheets made, creating a single seam" , New Top, New Transom 3/4" think for extrasuability andstrength. All plywood is Marine Grade with West System Glass and Epoxy to seal her all up tight.= New Paint "Paint is epoxy based", New Bearer Beams, New Solid Oak Engine Mounts, New Aluminum 18-gal fuel tank w/shut off, New Gauges, New Grant Banjo Steering Wheel, New Seats, Chrome is re-chromed, Bow light is converted to LED. New packing, rebuilt fuel pump, New Water Pump with a Spare. Stainless bowguard,Custom spray rails,Mahogany cock pit, The engine is a Mid 40's Model M7 Chrysler Marine straight 6 with Spitfire head, that sounds as good as she looks, runs perfect, I have the book too. This boat is valued at over 15k.The trailers has been sand blasted and painted, but has faded, new tires and lights.Things to do..Thewindshield that is shown is from a classic car and is notinstalled, It just happened to be a perfect fit and it is a template only, I have mounting hardware. I was going to recreate in Lexan.Top side need some kind of covering, Paint, Carpet or Wood Veneer "I have Veneer".. I evenfound acompany that makes avinyl sheet that looks like planking.Gas fuel filler cap need to be installed. There are no back seats I was trying to engineer something? The back floor I created out of Composite Decking, but is very heavy, I would switch over to cedar.
