Glastron Carlson CVX 23

This boat was hauled out of a heated garage of a custom home in Colorado. The elderly gentleman bought this boat new and used it 16 hrs according to the hour meter. It now has 20 something hours. The owner claims to have serviced the boat every year whether they used it or not. He says it hasn't been used in the last 15 yrs.

Because of the years it has set, I replaced manifolds and risers, the fuel pump, the impeller, changed the oil in the lower unit, replaced the thermostat, changed the fuel filter, all with OEM Mercruiser parts.The carb is rebuilt, the battery is new, I flushed the trim pump, and power steering pump, and flushed the brakes on the trailer. The tires look brand new but are date coded 1990.

The owner built seat covers out of towels when the boat was new, the seats and upholstery have never seen daylight and are as new. The carpet and gelcoat are showroom. No scratches on the bottom, I don't think it has ever been beached. The boat is a 9.9999 out of 10.

It is literally a time warp and is possibly the nicest original Carlson on the planet.

In 1990 a drunk driver ran over and destroyed the original Glastron trailer on the loading ramp, the boat was on the water and not involved in the accident. The boat sits on a 1990 custom Swanco trailer and is a full tube trailer. The front axle and related cross beam need paint. The trailer was towed up the sand road to the lake when this accident happened with wet paint, and it sand blasted the new paint off.

It has the 270hp 350 Mag with the stock 21P stainless prop. It runs 51mph at 5200ft. It runs 54 at 2000ft. It fires and runs as new and pulls hard. The boat is tight with no rattles. It has a sun top, a cockpit cover, and full cover.

Itowed it home in a rain storm, the owner informed me that the boat had never been in rain EVER!! This is not a joke. This is the real deal.
