1981 Glastron Carlson CXT 23 SCIMITAR.

The time has come to sell my pride and joy. This boat is a once in ten-year boat. This is rare and its one of the best kept and upgraded on the market. I have over $40,000 in receipts and the boat shows it. I have some other projects I want to focus on in retirement which will bring some big life changes for me and I wont be using the boat much. HULL

22 Gallon fuel tank built into the floor for 58 gallon total capacity.

Re-built, transom, floor, stringers, injected with foam. Done in 2010.

Nice carpet and interior,"T" tops, winglets, 3/8 thick acrylic windshield, and a fresh new urethane clear coat and all of the teak wood refinished in 2018.

This process removed all the stress cracks from the hull, re fiber glassed and re clear coated. I Spent $10,000 for this to be done Summer of 2018. It looks beautiful.

THE MOTOR

387cid Stroker out of a 1998 5.7 vortec,and its pushing over 400hp,with 500 pounds torque!

Some of the goodies include: Aluminum ProComp heads, stainless steel 2.05 Manley valves, 190 raised runners, full roller aluminum rocker arms, custom ground roller cam, double roller timing set,Edlebrockrpm"air gap"intake, Holley carb, EMI Thunder 4" polished aluminum exhaust manifolds, 4" stainless thru hulls.

Theengine block was professionally clearanced, decked, drilled and pinned for the early model timing cover, bored .060 over, highflow aluminum water pump, Eagle rods, Speed Pro pistons, 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, Teflon skirts, light weight flywheel and harmonic balancer, computer balanced rotating assy, 7qt oil capacity.

This motor with the aluminum exhaust manifolds, and otherparts,weighs about 200 pounds less than a stock 260hp Mercruiser motor. It is coupled with a 3 year old SEI 1.47 outdrive. There is a dual battery system. There will also be new batteries installed as soon as it comes out of storage.

The speeds can be the low 70's on 91 octane pump gas all depending on fuel and other loads. This will run 60s all day long. There are a few slight changes can be made to get faster, but not really needed.
