Regrettably, I need to sell one of my pet projects. I bought this Glasspar for a keeper. We had one just like it as a kid back in the late 60's, albeit not with an 85HP Mercury, but a 35HP Johnson. The closed bow Glasspar is about 14 feet long, maybe a tad longer. It seats 4.I put the 85HP Merc outboard on it two years ago. The outboard has very few hours. I've had itat the lake maybe 5 times. The kids took it out twice. Yes, you can ski behind it. Two grandson's were single skiing behind it at 35mph plus...which is why the 85HP motor was installed. All that is left is it needs the seats repaired, for they are original. I put t-shirts over the backs until such time I could have the seats recovered.I just had new shift cables and the controller rebuilt. Last summer we had new steering cables installed. The impeller and lower end was serviced. My mechanic always admires this little guy, he said one thing about this boat, is its originality, including the windshield. I always get comments at the loading ramp. Needless to say the 85HP Merc gets it nicely out on the open water. To say the least. I've towed the boat with 4cylinder Hondas and Volkswagens. The boat probably does not weigh in more than 1200#'s give or take. The boat was just at the lake this weekend. I have a spare set of carbs and distributor components which will be included. The trailer is a 1965 Carrier with black and gold California plates. The tires are new. The bearings are new. The fuel tanks are a year old. The lower end was resealed last summer. The ball is a 1"7/8.The speedo works.NOTE: I will assist the buyer in any manner, including meeting you half way within reason. The boat is in Central California, Fresno area, which is 75 miles west of Yosemite. California now has an over - abundant of water. Our lakes are brimming. Here is your chance to own a piece of history that is in good shape and ready to go skiing, fishing or just checking out the eye candy at the lakes, or rivers.I regret selling this boat. It does not cost me anything. It is a blast on the water, it is economical and easy to tow. Yes...$50,000 wake board boats are cool.....but paying for one is not-so-cool.

Questions
I have that exact boat but with a 135 Mercury (old timers call the motor a totem pole). Goes 52 Mph on flat calm with just me in it. Not really an Alaskan boat but i pick my day to use it to fish as i sold my cabin cruiser. Ive had friends ski behind her, but mostly i towed it behind my 27 foot Uniflite cabin cruiser just to use for fun when we got to the cove we anchored in for the night. Shes a hardy old girl and i like the double hull. Im just about to replace all steering and control cables and do need to recover the seats. Mine is red and white and the gel coat is faded so im going to spray fresh on. Greetings from Juneau Alaska. Good luck selling yours!
