The bad- The boat was painted about 15 years ago and is checking and peeling all over. The boat will need sanding and refinishing. The trim is tarnished. One interior seat is missing. The trailer has some rust and the bearings will need repacking and tires need replacing. The original 20 gallon stainless steel tank is included but needs welding. The good- The boat is solid. The transom was professionally replaced and there is no rot. The boat is solid structurally. All trim and glass are there and undamaged. The trim will need polishing or re-chroming. The engine runs perfectly (I would replace the plugs and impeller to be on the safe side). The engine is a 1964 model Mercury 100 H.P. Overall this boat is a project but is actually useable as is. If restored these classics bring very good money and are very sought after. If purchased you will need to either have a local mechanic repack the bearings and replace the tires or transport the entire boat and trailer on another trailer.
