George Saroukos

This boat is a fiberglass George Saroukos dinghy originally built by his boat works in Tarpon Springs sometime in the 1980s I believe. I bought it from a friend who helped me restore it who bought it from the original owner. This dinghy was originally designed to be a Mediterranean style row boat. From what I learned a number of these were made for the Greek Orthodox community in Tarpon Springs and were used by them. I don't have oar locks installed but, with a little bit of work, they could be easily added. I do include in this purchase (not shown) a pair of aluminum 7 foot oars.
