This is a Relatively new build of a 1953 Vintage Clark Craft hydroplane design hull with a 2011 Seadoo 4-tech 255hp supercharged inter-cooled 4 cycle inboard. It has been fitted with direct drive ( as most were ard still are ) , using a Detroit clutch and gear specially designed manufactured and high speed balanced PTO coupling. The drive shaft is high tensile strength stainless ,and a billet 3 blade bronze prop designed and machine by the manufacturer of unlimited hydros. Its approx. 17ft OAL with a wood hull that was assembled with resorcinol epoxy and stainless screws and the entire boat is covered in fiberglass fabric and resin. A polyurethane single part marine paint was used for trim colors and a UV tolerant urethane over the wood areasThe exhaust elbow was custom fabricated with a double walled stainless tubing and water cooled and the outlet pipe is water injected. This boat uses the same closed loop coolant engine cooling system as a originally design by Seadoo but uses a raw water pickup and heat ex changer under the rear cowl. Water also flows thru the exhaust manifold on the engine, and super charger inter-cooler.The fuel tank , engine mount brackets, component brackets, and throttle pedal are all fabricated from aluminum. This boat has taking many years the created and was completed last year, test run oonly at home using a water supply and all functions worked properly. It has never been place in the water. The trailer is included and was modified for this hull and proper axle position C.G. it has been towed from Michigan to FL without issue.I am the creator and builder of this absolutely unique and beautiful craft but have decided to for go actually running it. I have painstakingly built every part of this boat and many 2 or 3 times to achieve the best and most reliable solutions to building this boat with this power plant. Its been estimated to achieve about 80-90 mph depending on final tuning and prop adjustments.Again this has only been tested on land with a water supply and sold as experimental. I can assure you this IS a one of a kind racing boat.I do have a couple of running videos that I can probably email. I pumped out all the fuel the end of last year and will only run it again after receiving a partial or full payment. I will take as much time with the buyer at pick up to relay as much info as possible. I have lots and lots of photos starting from the first bulkhead assembles and sheeting, thru to completion. including many of the builds I discarded and remade. ( the last 4 pics were during the build Not the final state )Ask me anything prior to committing to buy. Sold as is for obvious reasons.I have no way to quantify the value so feel free to throw me an offer if you can appreciate what it takes to create something like this. Ron
