1954 13 foot Feathercraft runabout. All new oak plywood and solid board on the transom and seats, 1959 Gator trailer that is fitted to the boat with new wheels and tires, tow anywhere confidently. The boat was a one owner bought new for a friend of mine who is now 84 when he was a kid. It had the original 1955 Johnson 25 hp with it and is included but not running. I have a good powerhead for the motor that is included. I have gone through the lower end and the oi land seals are new. I have a few spare parts included. The top of the shift linkage under the powerhead needs fixing. Also included is the original Johnson shift and throttle control, consider for parts. The tiller handle and the stand for the motor is included. Also has original water skis included; The motor on the boat now is a pristine 1958 Evinrude 10 hp that is included. Also includes several life jackets and bow line. The boat has a nice Bimini top that is almost new. The battery is a deep cycle marine that is about a year and a half old. The boat has a bilge pump with a manual switch. It also has the electrical solenoid box that is hard to find. I wasn't sure how much it was going to leak but I was surprised that the bilge doesn't have to be turned on very often. I tried a 35 hp on the boat and that was way too much. The recommendation is for an 18hp so the 10 is more appropriate. I have had the 10 for years and have never started it so consider going through it but from it's looks, it shouldn't take much. I pulled the spark plugs and squirted Kroil oil into the pistons. Then I put it in forward gear and spun the motor by the prop and it makes good compression sounds pushing air out the spark plug holes. Plugs look like it was running perfect with nice color and clean plugs. This motor doesn't look like any screws have been moved or parts changed. It is as nice condition as you could find. I loved it's originality and condition so had it on a stand. There is a 57 Johnson hood included in case you want to put the 25 back on it. I love the barrel back look of these sporty light weight boats. I'm sure they were about the fastest boats on the lake in the day. This boat was on the Mississippi river in the day and now is in the mountains of North Carolina. Full payment before it leaves, I can assist anyone picking it up. PLEASE NOTE ----- It's missing the windshield, There is a weld on the right gunwhale that could be more skillfully done but I got it that way and had no intentions of showing it. I showed the dent in the bow and there is a slight bend that can be popped out on the right side near the passengers knee but it doesn't show in a picture because it's so gradual, The trailer needs paint to make it uniform. It's got a piece that I welded in for another keel roller that needs to be painted. The two brackets that tie the gunwhales to the transom were missing and I made the ones that are on it. They are fine but not the original brackets. It's a very solid usable boat just the way it is. The interior is very good but could use a cleaning if you want it any nicer. That's about it. I tried to explain all I could so there aren't any surprises.
