1938 34 foot Elco Cruisette built by the Elco Works at Bayonne, NJ. Her and her sister ships were marketed as the 'Home Afloat'.

This tight hull is in water and operable. Powered by straight six 300ci electronic ignition fresh water cooled. New exhaust. Runs strong. Transmission occasionally gets stuck in forward gear.

Canvas fronted flybridge with secondary controls. Dual bed front berth, galley, and head. Dual original Monel gas tanks.Glass windows surrounding cabin retract into the hull instantlyconverting the interior into a fresh airspace.

Elco is currently in water behind a private residence. Payment is due within 7 days of close of auction. Can stay at current docking location until late March. There are a variety of local marinas with slip availabilityand liftsas well.

She has a 10' beam, approx. weight of 10,000 lbs, the height from water line up is 10' with shallow draft. Height can be reduced by at least 3' by removable of fly bridge railing and console if necessary for transportation.

Structurally sound, beautiful classic. Aesthetic TLC will make her the flagship of any fleet. Motivated seller due to move or would keep. NY transferable registration in my name. Owner since 2009.

My Brother had a 42 footer very similar to this. Is this boat still available? Is she running? My cousin is Carol Ketcham, her husband is Paul Ketcham, who owned his own boatyard at 61 New Point Pl. in Amityville, with his Dad since the early 1950's. Any chance he worked on this boat?
