Little Sport 13 Luders launch built in 1947 by the world renowned yacht and ship builder Ed luders. Only 2 were ever built and the other sold recently for more than $12000! This beautiful launch is 13 long and 4 6 wide, with a Gray Marine inboard and keel drive. This boat has had some minor refurbishing in the last few months and is water ready. The boat is mahogany plywood with some teak trim. She has a layer of fiberglass over the whole boat and is watertight and relatively low maintenance. She is mostly all original and in extremely good condition. All of the varnish is fresh as is some of the interior paint. The Gray Marine Sea Scout 91 is a 4 cylinder flathead inboard engine and is freshwater cooled. It has been thoroughly gone through. She has had a complete valve job, 8 new valves, head surfaced and magnafluxed, new copper head gasket, new side cover and manifold gaskets, carb rebuilt, starter rebuilt, raw water and circulating pumps serviced, oil change and new spark plugs. It does have a raw water strainer. The engine runs beautifully. shifts smoothly and sounds lovely at idle and is quiet at WOT 2200 RPM. Almost all engine parts are readily available from Gray Marine in NJ. She has 2 new 5 gallon aluminum fuel tanks and all new fuel lines and fuel filter. Everything is ship shape and in working order. She has a bilge blower, running lights, electric horn, manual and auto bilge pump. There is all the required Coast Guard equipment, 4 PFDs, fire extinguisher, throwable cushion, paddle, 4 docking lines, flare kit and whistle. Little sport will be sold in running fully serviced condition with a brand new Venture trailer (pictured). This lovely piece of yachting history cant wait to see heads turn in Ego Alley or in St Michaels. She has loads of tumblehome, a great sheer line and the color combo is just classic. She is sold as a historic piece of functional yachting history. The pictures were taken last fall, then she was hauled, winterized and put on her new Venture trailer.
