WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO INSPECT THE BOAT BEFORE BUYING AS THIS IS A NON STANDARD BOAT. BOAT CAN BE SEEN BY APPOINTMENT IN NYC ON PIER 40 / @HUDSON RIVER This is a professional rescue type boat. 16', takes a short shaft engine. Hyper efficient.We owned this boat since 2013. It was prior to that used by a bridge construction company as a safety / rescue boat. The boat was sold after the job was done via auction. We have the full history of the boat including copy of original bill of sale the last registration of the owner who bought it at auction. But we never got around to applying for a title. So we are selling the boat as is but with fu history that will allow you to successfully apply for a title. Last registration was valid up to 2016 in Ohio.Your bidding on the boat only. There is no engine being offered or included. ALSO NO TRAILER. (trailer is not really needed anyway but you need a van or small pickup or full sized SUV to transport. Boat is rated up to 50 HP. However, it easily planes with a 9.9. HP engine and goes 16 mph with one person. Probably faster with the right prop.This is a pretty amazing boat. And even though this is the industrial version, it does require constant maintenance. Boat needs to be cleaned and sprayed with 303 after every outing. This boat has a few patches. Cuts can be repaired much faster than Hypalon. But on balance the boat is lighter (faster, easier om gas) than any Hypalon boat would be. This boat should not be left out in the sun, despite being made of UV stabilized PVC style fabric. It is ideal if you want a high performance boat that you take in the back of your pickup, inflate and go on whatever water is in front of you.Boat comes with a navigation arch / radar arch.There are interlocking floorboards from marine plywood with anti-slip foam coating. that work fine but one or two should probably be replaced.This boat was used as chase boat for a non-profit rowing organization for 2 seasonsWe have replaced it with a RIB that can stay in the water for the season.http://www.2tinga.ca/models.htmlThe 16 ft is stable and safe high performance boat that is just perfect for the cottage.
