Up for sale is a 2016 custom 14 micro-skiff from Dragonfly Boatworks. Founded in 2007 by Mark Castlow, Dragonfly Boatworks has become the go to builder for shallow water fishing skiffs in the southeast. This Dragonfly skiff was modified to fit aboard a large sportfishing boat and still fish the shallow waters of the Bahamas and Florida Keys. It is almost brand new and saw minimal use throughout its life with the prior owner. Would make an amazing addition to a bigger boat or easily towed to your favorite marsh.The boat was originally built in Vero Beach, FL in 2016 and shipped to South Carolina where it was used for a number of years infrequently. There are less than thirty hours on the boat, trailer, and motor. Stored indoors at all times on the trailer, this boat has been in a single family since being built in 2016. While this mirrors the Marsh Hen line that Dragonfly Boatworks builds, there are some customizations. The boat is 14 feet in length and custom laminate allows the final weight to be extremely light at roughly 150-160 pounds. The deck is open to the transom and the forward deck has been reinforced to accommodate lifting. This is an amazing flats boat with draft only 3 inches! The boat has a new coat of Matterhorn White paint on it and the trailer is a custom build by Dragonfly Boatworks and painted in Matterhorn White with Columbia Blue rims and accents. Recent wiring test resulted in both taillights functioning normal. The wiring set up is a standard 4 way trailer wiring harness.The engine is a 2015 Yamaha portable four stroke 9.9 horsepower engine. It is custom painted to match the Matterhorn White and Columbia Blue on the boat and trailer. As mentioned above, the engine was routinely serviced by Mannings Boat Service in Pawleys Island, SC with no signs of wear. We estimate less than 30 hours on the motor and are able to send videos of the engine cold starting and running normal. The engine comes with a 6 gallon fuel tank.Boat comes with a clean FL title. The trailer has not been titled or registered. Boat comes with everything you need to get right on the water including West Marine Dock Pro Fenders & Ropes (3x), Wise 3316 Boat Chairs (2x), Dri Dek, Anchor, Gas Tank, and more.
