I purchased this unused and unregistered 42 Express Hull from the Dorado Boat Yard in 2012, where it had been stored Indoors and under cover since 2005.

This is renowned as a bulletproof lifetime hull used primarily for offshore fishing/cruising. It is closed cell core, bi-tri-quad axial knitted fiberglass and vinylester resin throughout. NO wood anywhere!

Since the lines of the boat are very similar to the Hinckley Picnic and MKII series boats, it was my intention to have Hinckley Yachts build out the vessel as a Hinckley 42 Custom. I received a written estimate from Hinckley of $376K for the complete build out. I can supply any interested bidder with that detailed documentation and estimate. Just email me: email. Also, please check out Hinckley Yachts web site (hinckleyyachts.com) to confirm that a comparable newly finished boat would cost WAY over a million $. Of course, you can have any yard of your choosing build her out in a less luxurious style for much less $.

In the interim, I had her shrink wrapped and stored at a local yard in Clearwater, Fla.

As you can see from the photos, the twin engine beds and 450 gallon center line fuel tank (better stability than side tanks). are already in. Also, most interior structure is finished and some interior wiring has already been run.

This boat can easily be built out over this winter and be ready to launch in 4-6 months.

Obviously, boat is sold as is and will need to be removed from the storage yard in a timely manner after purchase. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
