This is a refurbished 1960 Steele Hull De Birs Cruser/Trawler. It was purchased in Israel after being sittingFor 10 years. The boat was completely inspected out of the water, with the hall being scraped welded and repainted. All the wiring had been replaced, as well as the water supply lines, batteries, and bilge pump‘s. A complete renovation of the interior was also performed in 2015. After three years the boat was sailed to turkey, where it was put on a cargo ship and delivered in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This is a 2015 Renovation of a 1960 De Birs classic cruiser. There are 900 square feet of comfortable living space, with 3 large stater rooms, three large modern bathrooms with showers, and Salon. The renovation included complete inspection of the steel hull, New wiring, new waterlines, new house batteries, redundant battery chargers, and new bilge pumps throughout. This is a real live aboard trawler type cruiser, which is completely ocean capable. It was sailed from Israel to Turkey, where it was put on a cargo ship. Then it was sailed from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Tampa Florida where is presently located.We have lived on this boat at various times over the last Five years, and have now retired and looking to sell to the right type of buyer. This boat easily can sail on any ocean or sea, however, the purchaser should have skill in operating a large boat. I installed seven 100 gallon PVC tanks for fuel, leaving the two 750 gallon steel tanks empty and sealed. If the purchaser wishes to pressure test The unused steel tanks that would give a 2200 mile range for this boat. You can safely sail in most any weather.The boat cruises at 10 mp hour, Burning about 1 gallon per mile. There is a Ray Marine GPS, Radio, and MMSI.Beside the 900 sq feet of living space there is an upper deck with Bimini cover, and covered aft deck.There is a 9000 W diesel generator supplying power when not connected to the shore power, and 300 gallons of fresh water available.
