Dana 19' Sprint

Up for auction is my restored 1979 19 Dana Sprint jet boat with a big block Chevy 454+.030 and a Berkeley JC jet pump. Boat was originally custom built and bought in Southern California, has always been used here locally in fresh waters.This boat was a previous CompJet class race boat driven by Lee Daniels and then later a competitive ski boat. Lots of well known boat racing history here.

This boat is turn key and in very good vintage condition. Original gel coat shines well and is in great condition for its age, although it does have its minor stress cracks (very inconspicuous). No fiberglass damage, or any soft spots anywhere.

Boat underwent restoration and has been completed recently. New floor with hardwood marine wood and underfloor ribbing. Carpet was replaced and all new wiring with new Megallion gauges and polished aluminum bezels. Steering helm as well as forward/reverse cable and diverter cable were replaced. Has two 15 gallon IMCO polished stainless steel tanks with dash mounted selector switch. Also, two new polished stainless steel fuel fills.

Fresh professionally built engine (see pictures in photo bucket for details) Very strong engine with no issues. Estimated at 400HP.

Has a shark fin turn fin mounted in front of the intake for increased steering. This boat turns on a dime and pulls strong thru the turns with very strong hole shot acceleration.

Gets lotsof attention on the lake as well as on the trailer! Very fun, fast boat on the water.

Dual axle custom made trailer has new paint, nice American Racing chrome wheels and NEW trailer specific tires (less than 500 miles on them)and good bearings. Brand new lights and wiring, bunks and swing away trailer wheel.

Trailer tows perfect, can easily by pulled cross country with no issues.

This is a true turn key boat, one of a kind piece of boating history! Ready for the summer season, it needs absolutely nothing.

I will also include a nice custom blue canvas cover.

I have the title for boat/trailer in hand ready to be signed over to new owner.
