I believe this to be one of, if not the rarest little boat for sale out there currently. I'm not certain of the exact year of manufacture, but from what little can be found on the company, this boat was made around 1958 or 1959, by Dalcraft in Dallas, Texas. I could not find one single image of a Dalcraft boat like this on Google, so it has to be pretty rare. The hull is a bit over 9ft long and about 8ft wide and the 1950's Evinrude 25hp motor is not stuck and it has has plenty of compression. I have made no attempt to start it out of fear of damaging the motor. The old Evinrude should be taken apart and at the very least, have the carburetor rebuilt and the water pump replaced. I replaced the original axle on the vintage Sears trailer with a brand new one along with two brand new tires and wheels. The bunk boards are also new. I purchased this boat from a guy who's family bought it new. He said his father used it as a ski boat to pull him behind it and that the boat was far more stable than it appears it would be. I bought the boat to restore and quickly realized that I have far too many other irons in the fire right now, so I am going to offer it up for sale on here. If no one sees value in it, then I will restore it myself. This should be a very easy restoration. There are some crude repairs to the fiberglass hull that his father had done many years ago that will need to be redone. I can see that he replaced the wood in the transom and the rest of the hull. The boat was last registered in 1973, and the previous owner confirmed that would have been the last time they used it before it was put away in their central Texas barn. The boat had only been used in fresh water.Based on the price of other extremely weird early glass boats, I placed a reserve at less than what an unrestored 1950's Lonestar Meteor would sell for. There is NO paperwork for this boat. Bill of Sale only.
