Custom Built Boat

Custom built 14 ft boat from Mahogany Wood from plans purchased from Marine Mart, New York. Some modifications were done to original plans which will be included eg, front & rear chairs and steering wheel which operate the 1958 Evinrude Manual Outboard Big Twin Engine 35 hp. Used less than 20 hours.

Comes from original owner who used it a few times in 1959-61. Then went into Army/ college/marriage/kids so it has sat for the last almost 58 years in storage. Boat & motor ran well when used for water skiing but not used since 1961. Evinrude engine comes with original manual. Has sat on the stand pictured all those years. We found the tiller handle and the carrying handle which we did not use as we had the motor hooked to a steering wheel. It is a manual pull. Husband said it was used less than 20 hours. My husband has pulled engine recently and pulled it again on 4/19/19 and it is not frozen. He has not sprayed or fogged it with oil. We had a tiny pond and sometimes he'd put the boat & motor in it to run it for a short time but that was several years ago. There are two (2) propellers & the original Evinrude gas container.

The trailer is a 1959 Mastercraft trailer. We will include original assembly instructions too. Tires are not original nor are they new and there is a spare too.

Boat and trailer have been stored in a garage for all of the 58 years but last year we were rebuilding a car and had to move the boat/trailer outside and covered it with 5 layers of Tyvac and tarp. The motor has always been in our walk-out basement.

All sales are final. Condition is as is. We are in a suburb west of Chicago and are 3 blocks from major interstate highway.
