Offered for bid is a completely restored (stem to stern) 16 ft.classic lapstrake "clinker built"runabout with a 1996 Evinrude 70 hp outboard. Boat, motor and trailer in great shape after pains-taken restoration by professional shops(between 2006 and 2012. Bottom was sealed and refinished so as not to have to "soak" in advance like many of the older wooden boats require. Have certification for insurance purposes, All wood refinished ( Bristol finish) and steering cables, wiring replaced. New speedometer, new depth finder, etc. 1996 Evinrude 70 hp outboard auto mixes fuel from separate gas tank and oil reservoir installed, so no woories about getting the fuel mix right. Trailer was sandblasted, primed and painted (black) and new wiring and lights as well ( 2006). Trailer in great shape, but will need new tires if hauling long distance is to be done. OK for local transport - no worries.Marine vinyl upholstery replaced in 2014 on adjustable seats. Adjustable windshield for ventilation.Custom made snap on boat cover for both mooring and trailering. Boat has always been stored inside (dry storage) during Wisconsin Winters and on a lift out of water when not in use in spring & summers. Originally made in 1962 by Cruiser's Inc (Oconto, WI) which was a part of the broader Chris Craft (NY), Thompson(WI) and Cruiser's Inc. boat building family dynasty. This boat has always in fresh water in and around NE Winconsin, and on the Bay only for the last 14 years. Truly a unique piece of Wisconsin and Wooden Boat history and ready to cruise, ski or fish.Boat is in dry storage now, fully winterized, and arrangements can be made to view with proper lead-time.
