This boat is truly a once in a lifetime barn find! She is a 20ft, 1960 Cruisers, Inc with a 1970 100hp Evinrude outboard engine. I bought this boat late last year sight unseen, out of an old barn, with the full intention of keeping her. However, I'm looking at relocating to Florida, so having a wood boat in salt water is not for me. Had my doubts seeing it for the first time in a dark barn, but once in the sunlight I honestly couldn't believe how beautiful she really is! I have been over every inch of this boat. Removed every mummified critter and critter waste. The critters left dark coloring to the transom floor areas, but not a SINGLE BOARD, RIB, OR RIB TIP, IS ROTTED OR SOFT! The stem is LIKE NEW! The transom too is in LIKE NEW condition! THIS BOAT HAS ZERO ROT. If it's there, we can't find it! There is not even a mark on the transom from mounting or clamping an engine on it! We figure whoever had this boat, used it and the motor very, VERY sparingly. Maybe sat at a cottage on an inland lake and used once or twice a year, if that? I have every original piece that she should have.>Rub rails, chrome, nameplates, king plank, toe-rails, floor boards, bow & stern lights, hatch cover,controls/shifter, etc., window frames. The window frames are solid! She even has all her original glass (front & sides)!!! The decks and topsides are original & solid! (original vinyl is missing). The farmer must have removed the original vinyl and primed the decks and transom. I sanded off the primer to show the beautiful well preserved wood! The sides don't even need painted and are in mint condition! We found a replacement roll of vinyl in the boat, but threw it away due to age. The only thing missing is the steering wheel. She does come with one fuel tank, but it's dented. Camper top poles included. The engine is complete and looks like new inside. No leaks, no apparent hints at any usage. Exceptionally clean. We have no idea if it runs, but by the clean looks, have no reason to believe it won't. She comes with a double axle trailer. We just rebuilt the trailer this year to pick up the boat. This double axle trailer has new wiring, new lights, new tires, new rims, new bearings, and a complete new rear axle! (have receipts) The boat tows beautifully on this trailer! This boat looks like it simply needs to have vinyl put back down, the trim pieces put back on, and launched! This boat, with her good looks and deep free-board, will make a great boat for any family! Highly doubt I will ever come across another barn find, especially one this solid & clean! There is no title. But I was able to trace the last registration to 1980. I will provide a bill of sale for the boat and trailer. The boat is for sale locally in the Toledo, Ohio area, so I reserve the right to cancel the sale at any time. This is a true 'locked in a bubble' timepiece that will not disappoint the new owner! phone
