Crown Craft Speed/Ski Boat

Nostalgia vintage 17' speed boat project. Buick Nailhead 322 cu.in. 4 bbl motor circa 1956 complete. Block ID#I4727516. Original Carter WCFB carburetor with trick cast aluminum flame arrest, slant spacer and new rebuild kit. Direct drive with a Capitol Gear Reverse transmission, Glenwood wet exhaust, cast aluminum flame arrestor air cleaner. Engine turns by hand and is moisture free inside. Plugs do not show oil burn. Engine appears to have been built with professional care. Not a rusted lump. Not currently registered or running. All proper marine accessories, linkage and controls are intact. Bronze prop and rudder in great condition. Well designed and built old school boat is glass over plywood with mahogany structural framing. Fiberglass has delaminated in spots and there seems to have been some repair on the forward lower hull. Outrageous fresh air scoop on engine cover. Custom fitted well balanced trailer with boat engine riding directly over the single axle. Needs one leaf spring replaced butpulls easily and trailers straight with newer tires included. Not currently registered and needs working lights and license or transport to move.Located about 35 minutes from Fresno or Madera in California.Tire kickers, photo collectors, conversationalistsand scammers will not be tolerated.
