Grateful Dead Inspired Ski Nautique one of a kind: 1988 Correct Craft Ski Nautique. Purchased in 1991 with 150 hours, it has been garaged 100% of the time and is in mint condition. Note: this particular model Correct Craft is a Ski Nautique 2001 the model has nothing to do with the year it was manufactured which is 1988.
Nicknamed Ski Dead, it was completely (short of any unnecessary engine work) restored in 1996; carpet & upholstery, gel coat, striping and custom paint featuring Grateful Dead graphics. It sports red and blue pinstripes; each side has a large Steal Your Face at the rear, the name Ski Dead in the middle, and the Colorado Call Letters up front numbers and letters exhibit the font used on the Grateful Deads 1976 Steal Your Face album. The rear displays each of the five different poses of the Dancing Bears; numbers one, three and five feature blue bears with redbandannas, while two and four are red bears with bluebandannas. Must see to appreciate, runs perfectly, and comes with original trailer and a wide assortment of skis, vests,wet suits& ropes.
