DOWNSIZING. Selling our 16 foot VERY RARE 1948 CORRECT CRAFT Jr. wooden runabout. This boat has a professionally installed bottom by the restorer of one of the 4 boats used in the movie, "On Golden Pond." (This was the camera boat used at the dock.) in the Fall of 2014. The boat also has a completely rebuilt 112 HP Phantom 6 flat head Gray Marine engine (original to the boat) that has been converted to an electric fuel pump and tachometer for trouble free operation. All original pieces that were changed out are included in the sale for the purist. Also included is a 2002 Shore Lander trailer with a spare tire and an extra Capital 1E transmission. This BOAT IS TURN KEY and DOES NOT NEED SOAKING prior to each use as it is factory made with laminated mahogany plywood. Just unload the boat, turn the key on, push the starter button, and go. It easily pulls a water skier up on one ski. The boat has also pulled a flat wing water ski kite flown by myself. Yes, it is that reliable!! THE BOAT IS RESTORED AND NOT IN NEED OF FURTHER RESTORATION AND IS SEA READY. It has always been stored with the mooring cover on and under a covered boat lift. The full mooring cover is also included in the sale. Always has been a Minnesota FRESH WATER BOAT. The boat is sold as is, where is and does not have any type of warranty written or implied. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due via pay pal at the end of the auction. Please contact me after making your deposit to arrange for pick-up. Balance is due in cash or certified bank cashiers check (with a letter from the bank) at the time of pick-up. At that time a clean title for the boat and trailer will be provided.
