DescriptionThe boat is a Cordova 23 foot day cruiser speed boat with a Berkley Jet that has a place diverter and the boat is set up for a large block engine, not the smaller 5.7 liter block engine that comes with the boat. There is no bell housing or coupler which is needed to connect the engine tothe Berkley Jet. Those parts can be obtained from a parts yard or a boat dealer or marine parts supplier that sells engine parts and other mechanical boat supplies. The boat comes with a Chevy 5.7 liter marine engine that needs to be rebuilt and the engine has not been installed in the boat so it is out of the boat. The interior and exterior of the boat needs repairs. The seats can be used but they need cleaning and perhaps some other attention. The seat platforms need some attention or new platforms made and the carpet in the boat needs to be replaced. The boat hull or finish has a chip and scratches here and there that needs some touch up so the boat needs to be refinished and painted of course. There are two holes that were made in the crown for port windows that either need windows installed or the fiberglass repaired to fill the holes. There is a vent installed on the crown of the boat. The boat has a bimini top that needs new fabric but it could be used temporarily if needed. See photos for details. The trailer is a 1977 Trail-Rite trailer from Santa Ana, California. The trailer is a dual or tandem axle trailer with surge brakes and a GVWR of 6000 pounds and it has some adjustments at the front for various boat lengths and bow height. See photos for details. The trailer is not road worthy for a long trip but should be ok for a short local trip of 100 miles or less. The trailer needs some work with new tires, brakes checked, wheel bearings lubed and a paint job and it needs other minor work and a general going over to make sure everything is in good working order. The trailer was towed locally recently with no problems while towing. For a long tow it would need at least new tires and the wheel bearings checked and greased and the electrical and brakes checked and fixed if needed.
The owner has clear titles available for the boat and trailer so the purchaser can transfer ownership into their name.
