Due to unforeseen life changes, we are forced to sell our tiny houseboat named "The Doghouse"This boat was built from plans from a boat design company named Berkeley Engineering in California. The companies basic concept was to have a small houseboat the is easily trailerablethat can be used as a camper while in route to the next body of water. The boat is very stable and easy to drive but not meant for open water or big waves at all. The Doghouse is happiest on calm backwaters and tranquil coves and does not like rough seas, waves and wind. This is not an open water boat.This extremely rare and one of a kind boat gets lots of attention and lots of photographs. It is always the most popular boat at the lake and a real head turner! If you are the type of person with a penchant for the unique, then look no further.Back when we had our boat slip, we were surrounded by boats worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, yet "The Doghouse" was always the most popular boat and received lots of compliments and inquiries.We have always thought this would be the near perfect AirBnB or VRBO rental as it is so unique and the "WOW!" factor is off the charts!Immaculately engineered and constructed. The fit and finish is absolutely amazing, very high quality construction. We bought it from the original builder who, due to health reasons was unable to use it. The boat has had only minimal use on a few evening cruises. The shower has never even been used and many of the custom made cushions are still in their new plastic wrap. Payment by bank wire transfer is the only form of payment we accept. Boat must be picked up within 7 business days of purchase.The boat has current year registration however Kansas does not use titles for boats so boat will be sold with a Bill of Sale.
