Folks, this is a grand lady that made her owner alot of money in the Chartering Business running trips to the Bahamas and back. She was also featured in past CSI Miami Episodes about 8 years ago. Now, you have the opportunity to own her and make her your own.I bought her when she was moored behind the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale about a year ago. she had been moored there for about 8 years and never left the dock at that time. After servicing her Detroit's I and a friend navigated her up to Ft. Pierce Florida where she was hauled, bottom cleaned, and blocked. She ran fantastic! and the Detroit's just sounded amazing. I bought her with full intent to re-fit her and retire on her, but life, as it is, has other plans and threw a couple curve balls at me, so I need to hand her off to someone who will take care of her and show her the Love she deserves.Folks, I can not tell you how it pains me to sell her, after going through her stem to stern I quickly realized what a great yacht she is. Built like a battle ship to say the lest.Yes, she does need updating, but all systems are there, and her AC and DC systems are working, Water system is working, Water heater is working, showers are working Kitchen is operational, Refrigerators and Freezers working...and the crews quarters bunks are very comfortable! I know I have slept on them. Her decks and stringers are in great shape no soft decks or stringers, all solid.with exception of two small soft areas at the pilot house door sills (easy to fix). She truly is a live aboard while you re-fit her project boat. She is a USCG Documented boat. The Marina/Boatyard where she is currently located is a true work/live aboard boat yard.Home Depot, West Marine, Ace Hardware, and a huge wholesale boat parts warehouse is all located within about 5 miles, and if the wholesale boat parts warehouse does not have what you need, then you just plain did not need it.The Marina/Boatyard supplies Electricity (30AMP), water, showers, and bathrooms for the tenants. My loss, your gain, because she is already where she needs to be to re-fit her and the storage agreement is transferable to you. Its about 500.00 per month (she is a big boat folks - 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for you land lubbers looking to quit the rat race and become a pirate and see the world).Folks this yacht will be worth over $160,000.00 after her re-fit, and if you are handy or an avid Youtuber most all work can be self performed and save you 10's of thousands of dollars, and remember to always check classifieds board for great deals on materials! I know that this Yacht can be re-fit and updated for about 35-45k and she would be amazing again. The Instruments are all outdated, but I never intended to buy those expensive instruments when now you can download Navigational Apps for the Ipad, which are free or almost free and most sail boaters now only use their IPads for navigation and chart plotting...check it out and google it......no need to spend that kind of money anymore....Also, this yacht would be perfect to re-fit and set up on Air BnB, you would make a fortune....O.k. that's about it, if you have any others questions, or just want to shoot the crap, gimme a call....phone LeeTo schedule a walk through of the Yacht please contact my friend Mike Sloan, his Number: phone, or phone. Mike works at the Marina/Boatyard so easy for him to show the Yacht. The boat is being sold As Is - Where Is...no warranty implied or otherwise. No Returns, Deposit is Non-Refundable because if you do not finish paying I will have to re-list and pay classifieds board again....Not fair if you do not pay.REMEMBER this yacht is a USCG Documented Yacht, and so the buyer will receive an Official USCG Bill of Sale. The Yacht is also advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end this sale without notice if Yacht sells locally. Update April 17th 2018:O.k folks, many of you have contacted me about this Yacht and asked some really good questions, I will answer them here for all to see:1. Condition of onboard AC Units: There are three (3) Cruise-Air units, 1 appears to be fairly new, 1 looks to be a recent addition (3-5 years?) and appears operational, and the third one looks like an original and does not look good. I have not personally operated the onboard AC Units (boat needs to be in water), I was told by previous owner that two of the units work, and 1 needs replaced. Personally, I intended to remove all of the Cruise-Air Units and install a new 5 zone Mitsubishi Mini-Split system which has a 7 year warranty and is also sea spray certified. The new Mitsubishi Unit is highly efficient and has a 22 Seer Rating! The Unit also has Heat! I wanted to get rid of all the Through Hulls for the AC Units, if any of you know, failing Through Hulls are what sinks boats, so getting rid of as many as possible seems to be a good idea.2. Condition of Windlass: The windlass on deck foot switches shorted out and as a result the motor needs repaired or replaced. I had a Boat mechanic look at the motor and he said that the motor is repairable, the Stator, and Rotor are fine. He also said that he would repair it if it were him because the motor is much higher quality than what is on the market today. Your choice.3. Condition of Detroit Engines: The engines run perfect! they are in need of detailing such as new hoses and hose clamps. You could even steam clean and re-paint them they would look like new. Nothing else needed on the engines they were serviced in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and ran perfect on the trip up to Ft. Pierce. The engines alone are worth $20,000.00 and many people wanted to buy them, but NO I am not inclined to sell only the engines, at least not yet...If you want to offer to buy them give an offer for engines only, and YOU are responsible to pay for the removal from the boat (under MY supervision). If you want to see a video of the engines running go to You Tube and put this title in the search bar : " 8V71Ti Marine Detroits For Sale "4. Cost to renovate (Re-Fit): O.K. I am a Master Finish Carpenter, and fairly handy with plumbing and electrical, so for me, Yeah 35-45k to bring her back to pristine condition, and/or better than Pristine (I am Anal about quality). You on the other hand may not be a finish carpenter, but maybe you have other skill sets which will allow you to self perform some of the work so, you should be fine, NOW IF YOU intend to hire contractors for EVERYHING, then you WILL spend upwards of 80K to refit this boat, pure and simple. So, think this through and do not waste my or your time. This is a great opportunity for someone who is handy, and not afraid to watch some videos and get their hands dirty because you can live comfortably on the boat while you renovate her section by section. Break it all up into parts that you can handle, You eat an elephant 1 bite at a time. PLAN YOUR WORK, WORK THE PLAN.UPDATE APRIL 21, 2018:Hi Folks, o.k. many people have been asking if I would carry a Note on the Yacht, well I am not inclined to do that, but IF I did here are the terms: 20k, Down, balance in 24 monthly payments @ 10% interest. You pay all cost of the deal. Also, you would be required to have and maintain, full coverage insurance naming me as Loss-Payee (expensive).I am open to trade for a Condo located in Florida, or a Cadillac CTS + Cash, or BitCoin.I would also entertain Trade + Cash for 36-40 Foot Trawler in good shape. To
schedue a walk through of the Yacht please contact my friend Mike
Sloan, his Number: phone, or phone. Mike works at the
Marina/Boatyard so easy for him to show the Yacht.
