Want to enjoy weekends away out on the lake with family and friends ? Want a comfortable boat to live on?
This boat allows you to do that and at a fraction of the cost of similar newer boats.
I have worked restoring her lovingly for the last 7 years. I don't know how many hours of work I have done, but it is a lot ! I used original Chris Craft pieces when I could giving her a very authentic look. Although most things are done there are a few projects remaining. I am only selling her because I am downsizing to another boat. With my kids all grown I don't need so much space.
She has a fully restored helm, with full canvas top, new VHF radio and stereo and compass.
She has plenty of room for family and friends to sleep. She has a very roomy Master bedroom (which sleeps four), complete with a full bath (shower and toilet). The room has a heater for winter.
The kids can sleep in the forward V-berth, which sleeps four, and also has its own private toilet.
The main salon is very roomy and can sleep an additional 3 people. It has an oven and range (that needs work), a new small fridge, and sink. This room also has air-conditioning and a heater.
All of the interior to the boat has been painted and varnished several times, giving it a lovely finish.
She has an aft deck where the kids can go swimming from while you fish or just sit and relax. The Swim platform is very large, with a ladder.
She is a very comfortable and roomy boat to live on.
Mechanically she is functioning to normal specifications. We have been taking her out on the lake each weekend recently and she is running ok, and the engines shift from forward to reverse well.
She has:
- All new bilge pumps are new, (stern, engine room, and forward). She -- All new fuel lines.
- All new fuel pumps.
- New 120 power converter system.
- New 3 cell charger for both port, starboard and auxiliary batteries.
- New 12 volt fresh water pump.
- All outlets on the boat are new.
- New water heater for the entire boat.
Her hull and topsides are in good condition as are all windows and screens. All safety lines, stanton poles and shoring cleats are very solid. Anchor and anchor line only 3 years old. She has four fire extinguishers (one in the engine room on automatic, two in the main salon, and one in the Captain's quarters).
As a rare gift, this boat includes two new aluminum prop shafts, should you ever need them. Those two shafts alone are worth around $1000.
