  • Very RARE Chris Craft RoamerTOUGH STEELSemi-Enclosed/Open/Sportsman 1958-1959An Excellent Day Boat...Even Overnighter.one of 15 built, 25, 9 Beam, 27 Draft, 48" Freeboard- forward with 62 Headroom. More room than any similar CC36 Freeboard aft. 6,600 lbs. Welded Steel, Matching engines,Twin K's that have 120 and 112 compression (original 620 hours). Helmsman and companion seats, Stern seat, Fiber glass top, sliding windows, canvas enclosure curtains, 12v, Bunks, head with holding tank. Plenty of storage.A VERY DRY BOAT.. Keeping 8 people dry with 6'2" headroom. Enclosure canvas protects all open areas under way.The boat is rare, in all my research and all pages devoted to Roamers, there is not another RSE.Stronger and more seaworthy than ALL other boats of its time,this RSE model was designed and used as Police and Fire patrol boats, offshore fishing and broke ice on Lake St Clair. Stable ride, keel fin midship to stern, Superb handling Just a comfortable boat.I do not want to part with it, - medically I have to find the right person to take the boat to its final completion. about 10-12% left to do for a superb boat that will last generations more.I will entertain as part payment a smaller Boston Whaler or antique auto.

  • Excellent Strong hull, no rust and coated with Por 15.- I cant see any damage or even scuffing on the hull or rails. 6 coats of epoxy paint. DOES NOT NEED SWELLING. The hardware looks newly chromed but is original, only the spotlight shell has very small pitting. Twin K engines are original with 620 and 621 low hours with NEW or re-manufactured regulators, starters and generators. Compression, 120 on stbd and 112 on port.Trailer new in 2009, no road use, Twin axle 5,200 lbs per axle, electric brakes on each wheel NADA value 4,500 to $5,400Shaft logs were removed and need welding. ($2-400) or I will supply new bronze logs. To be pristine, I would suggest upholstery, varnishing, headliner, britework fastening. Windscreen side pillar needs a piece to be replaced. Wiring for engine controls are in place and need hooked up.Seller may pay 50% of travel and inspection for buyer.
