Gorgeous 1940 Chris craft (barrel back) Replca built from Glen L marine plans. Completed in 2010 from Philippine mahogany and the finest available materials. Cold molded veneers and marine plywood construction. 10 coats of marine varnish in excellent condition.Powered by a 4.3L marine power V6 fuel injection MPI engine rated at 230 hp, with approximately 60 hours of running time. Mated to a velvet drive 71C transmission with a 1:1 gear ratio. Top speed 46 MPH.Included with purchase of boat is a custom trailer fabricated by loadmasters trailer. It has electric brakes and spare tire. 2" ball connection.The barrel back has full instrumentation including speedometer, tachometer, volt meter, temp gauge, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge and clock. Conveniences include seating for 6 people, 4 cup holders, ice chest, storage under the seats and in bow. Removable side mounted stairs, anchor, compass and a great vintage sounding trumpet horn.Reason for sale... I have built 4 boats over the past several years and many cars. I enjoy building and love every project (this was my favorite to date) I love this boat and if I had and endless amount of room to store my projects I would keep them all. Unfortunately I do not and would like to make room for the next project. I do not need to sell this boat financially but would love the right person to give her a new home. This boat gets a lot of positive attention. She runs very smooth and handles like a sports car. Has a great sound without being to loud.I am able to deliver within a 100 mile radius from Brewster New York at no additional charge.
