1981 CHB 44 Overall. Very well known around here and condition is very good. Price $65,000. Brokers have for sale at $79,500 and the value is even more then that. I also need to sell due to health. I am 75 now.
This vessel is ready to go anywhere right now when you want where 400 gal of fuel can take you. Engines are clean fresh oil change and ready to go. (2) 120 Lehman engines that almost look new. They run sweet. I range at 3635 rpm 8-11 kts an hour and burns about 3.5 gal an hour. An 8hp generator is in an enclosed metal-shielded container in the engine room. It is quiet and runs great. All electronics are in great condition. Everything works on this vessel.
The previous owner was the Commodore for many years of a top Yacht Club in WA. They sold the vessel due to in-not-good-health both of them and they were getting on in age, just like me.
This vessel was always kept in top condition and it is still in that condition. There are very little cosmetics needed on the exterior around windows (they dont leak). And needs TLC needed around the cleats and a few other places. All that work could be done in a week with one or two people and look like new. I will be doing that work myself if the vessel does not sell by the time I am ready to take the vessel to San Diego which will be at the latest July 20th 2015. Once I do the rest of the cleanup I will raise the price. This was sold for $110k just a few years ago and much was done to upgrade after that. So this vessel is in great condition and value at least $100k. The brokers have it for sale at $79,500k I will sell the vessel on my own with no broker for $65k right now before July 15, 2015. May take a car in partial trade. Come and get the best deal in town. This is a great cruiser for short or long distance. Cruise the San Juan Islands or take it on up to British Columbia or even take it to Alaska. This vessel is a serious cruiser. Built for stout. She is very economical at 3.5 gal per hour at around 1600 rpm and average 8-9kts. Live-a-board, you bet. Look at the photos, plenty of room interior and out. Even has a like new diesel heater stainless steel. Just put a new 15CuFt freezer on 1st lower/upper deck.
Why am I selling? I am 75 and I now have vertigo. Being on a boat is not a good idea. But I love this vessel and will take it to San Diego (which is where I am moving to). I can also do the cleanup on the exterior and a little interior. Your chance now to own this wonderful and ready go vessel at a greatly reduced price. This gal is loaded. My price is firm. I will not accept less. I will be asking $90k if I keep her and clean up the exterior. She is that nice and ready to go. Ill even take her for you to where you want for expenses and right now for expenses. All maintenance records/books on equipment are here. Lots of spare parts go with this vessel.
