This Celebrity was purchased new by my father and it runs extremely smooth. It starts with little or no effort. Boat is carbureted and has not required any adjustments since I took ownership of the vessel 4 years ago. New boats only wished they ran this smooth and strong! This boat has always been garaged or covered when not in use and comes equipped with a complete canvas cover for traveling/storage and protecting the interior. The interior of the boat is all original and is in fabulous condition with no rips or tears in the seats or upholstery (one small scuff is present on the rear convertible cover), which is the only damage to the interior. All of the carpet/seats are original and have never been recovered. The floor in this boat is very solid. This Celebrity has an OMC I/O outdrive with a stainless steel prop. This OMC outdrive unit has never been hit or damaged (it has a few scratches). Since this Celebrity spent most of its life in Colorado the OMC outdrive was also re-geared for high altitude for extra pulling ability. Yet will still do 40mph on the lake at the redline of 4400 rpms. This Celebrity has an excellent fiber glass hull and remains bone dry after hours of boating on the lake. Near the drain plug there is a small piece missing in the fiberglass (I have no idea where or how this happened-no marks are present underneath). As I said this boat never takes on any water, it remains dry after boating for hours. In this Celebrity all of the gauges work, and are vivid with no sun fading. While this Celebrity is in Excellent shape, due to the age of this boat, it comes as is with no warranties.All maintenance was preformed along with necessary winterizations to keep this beauty in its pristine shape. All of the teak wood on this boat is in great shape and is not sun faded/cracked/broken.
