Cargill Cutter

Up for sale is a 28 ft Cargill Cutter cabin cruiser. The 30 ft version of this boat became the smallest cabin cruiser to cross the Atlantic Ocean a number of years ago. This particular boat was owned by a man that took detailed care of the boat and used it every year for a trip in the San Juan Islands. That man was my father and he passed away just after returning from his annual trip this year. He was meticulous in his care of this boat and didn't allow any maintenance issue go unaddressed. The photos were taken of the boat earlier this month at a marina where it is housed in a boat house in the The Dalles, Oregon. A short video of the boat in operation can be supplied if asked for. The boat is just small enough to be trailered by a 1 ton vehicle and comes with a trailer that was used to haul it to the Puget Sound each year to be used in the San Juans. The boat is powered by a single ford V-8 engine. When started, it purrs like a kitten. This is a very nice boat and will make an excellent water craft for up to 6 people.
