A very rare boat. About a 1000 of these were built but only about 400 were the 28 foot model. To find one in this condition is rare. Honestly I would almost bet this is the only one currently for sale in the US. These were built from 70 to 77 the 30 foot model was built through 82 or 83? Designed for overnight camping on or off the water. Part of the design was to be able to bring this with you for adventures where ever you go. Could be used as a great house boat or use it on the big lake like she has been most of her life. The 30 foot went across the Atlantic. Now you know a little about Cutters let me tell you what we know about Betty.She"s a 1973 28 foot with twin Dual Carb AQ130d Volvos and Volvo out drives. She has a microwave and fridge a kitchen sink and a bathroom. On top of that she has sleeping for 6 - 8 if you fold out the upper chairs. 30 amp shore power plus a power inverter for when your away from the docks, and mostly original interior in good shape. Fresh water and black water holding tanks sinks drain to lake. 50 gallon fuel tank. New trim tab pump lines and actuators. Comes on the an original Cargile trailer with good tires and breaks. Professionally winterized and shrink wrapped end of last season. I will include the articles and info I have found about these boats also.And remember she is 45 but looks good for her age.The bad. There is a noise coming from the port engine. Push rod is what the mechanic thinks I'm worried it might be more serious. The out drives should have new drive bellows installed and the upper deck should be coated with flex seal. Fuel gauge sending unit needs to be replaced. I have a spare running motor and out drive that will be included if you want them. I also have the fuel gauge sending unit.Honestly she is a one of a kind. I am not looking to dump her but I am willing to let her go too.
