The rig sits on an all aluminum Continental trailer with LED lighting and built in transom tie downs, new spare tire and tongue jack.
The forward deck houses a cavernous below deck storage compartment, built in 12 gallon fuel cell with external fill (fill cap in the gunnel), one of the battery chargers and trolling motor battery as well as a separate anchor and line locker. The deck is also rigged with an elevated fishing chair pedestal. The center console houses the helm, a seat with backrest and aeriated live well (under the console seat) a full electrical switch panel, controls for the engine, GPS, Jack plate and all pumps and lighting. The deck is also rigged for the 2nd elevated fishing chair.
The gunnels are a full 12 in wide for easy standing or walking if desired and contain (2) built in and (4) under gunnel rod holders (4) pop up cleats and the external fuel fill cap.
The hull is a "Boggy Creek Boats"exclusive...mostly flat with turned up bow for an extremely dry ride. There is a tunnel built into the hull 4in deep and 26in wide along its entire length. This makes for a shallow draft and helps to make more clearance for the prop in skinny water.
(See photo of hull as it came from the moldbefore gelcoating)
The tunnel also negates the slide often experienced with a flat bottom when turning at speed. This vessel turns extremely tight with no slide and nearly no roll.
I took delivery of this vessel in January 2015...it was nearly a year in construction. Its a great rig, however back problems preclude me enjoying it as it deserves...
