1989 Black Watch 30 ExpressThis boat has the famed Ray Hunt Bertram "Moppie" hull. It is a very rare boat produced in small numbers. Repowered with twin 454's with approximately 600 hours All New canvas 3 years old (Bimini, full side curtains, and aft drop) interior completely redone - wood sanded and refinished, new carpet, table, flooring, 3 year old outdoor cushions, 3 new bilge pumps complete non skid deck in, top and out repaint. Brand new batteries, complete flush and steaming of bilges FULL MARINE SURVEY COMPLETED 2018 with boat pulled. I have a copy scanned - request it and I will send. Many updates done to bring it current. Please ask for specificsBoat is currently winterized and on dry dock at marina. The final things left over from the mechanics recommendation from last year is currently in progress (new intake gasket on port engine due to small air leak). It has just had the shrink-wrap removed and is not cleaned. The boat polishes up extremely well (please see pictures taken before launch last year. It just needs a good normal cleaning.Has some scratching on one side from knocking around dock before being pulled from water end of season. It was improperly tied.,The other side shows rubbing where the white tape line is. It is NOT on the paint and removes easily. It just looks awful. If you zoom, you can clearly see that it is just smudged tape. This is from the same improper tying.I would say the final additional things the boat needs is as follows : needs trim seam replacement around hatch interior where it meets the headliner. The old piece was tattered and was removed. Would benefit by battery chargers as it was never fitted. a wax to bring back hull shine from winter storage, along with paint touch up for the cosmetic scratching as pictured, and removal of the smudged tape line that spattered on hull. I would clearcoat and light sand the windshield frame for a more polished look. It was enameled and not yet sanded. also, needs 1 coat of bottom paint and replacement of a single thru hull fitting as pictured near the smudging of the tape.The reserve on this boat is set to SELL. It is priced much below what any other black watch has sold for here or is being offered for sale elsewhere. It is also far under what I paid plus what I have in it for the recondition. You are welcome to make offers. Boat is also going to be listed locally, so I reserve the right to pull it if sold. The boat will need to be towed/trailered to its destination as there is near zero chance of getting the marina to get to it. With covid, they are backed up and this is partly the reason the boat sits winterized at this point. The other part is also Covid. I simply do not have time to deal with it and my priorities are elsewhere during this terrible time.Lastly, the boat is a federally documented vessel and also registered with the State of New York. I registered with the State of New York because of the extreme backup with the Fed in processing title transfers. They were 3 months behind before covid and now I cannot get them on the phone. Boat will be sold with a bill of sale and I will leave the registration for the New York transfer. I will hand the Federal documents to the buyer (already signed) for future processing with the Federal documentation department. I would suggest doing this over the winter when time is plentiful and hopefully Covid is more under control. Not a big deal, but I wouldn't send things off to the Federal government with no time frame on it's return. There is NO LEIN on the boat. Boat is sold as-is condition. I am more than welcoming of a mechanic assessing the boat.
