I have a true barn find vintage plywood boat/motor for sale. It was made in Denver Co by Biltrite Mfg possibly in late 1940's or early 50's ( I cannot find info on the company). Serial # A-139 (see pic of brass tag). It is 13' 5" long to tip of bow. It has a super clean almost like new 1953 Evinrude Fastwin 15 hp motor w/ matching gas tank. The hoses are like new, but tank does have scale and junk in bottom. Boat sat in dark garage since 1969. It has good compression and pulls over w/ rope start. I DID NOT try to get running, as carb no doubt needs gone thru. This is up to the new owner.

I did not put boat in water, but hull appears in great shape. The trailer is a work of art, all handmade to fit the boat like a glove. Appears to be made from a 1936 or 1937 Plymouth axle w/ leaf springs. There is one military spoked rim and one dish style rim w/ old 16" bias ply tires. I would NOT trailer this on the highway, it needs to be transported on flatbed trailer. The boat is real clean inside, but the varnish is starting to peel in some spots. No weak or cracked wood, its all in great shape. You get one old green wooden oar. You also get original owners manual and various neat paperwork (including Evinrude dealers and boating safety booklets). Also included is a vintage fish stringer and tune up kit w/ vintage AC spark plugs and tools.

The tires are cracking from age and don't hold air for more than a few days. I also have a CLEAR WYOMING TITLE on the trailer. Boat has not been inspected as yet. Boat is in Encampment WY 82325 (we are 4 hrs nw of Denver and 1 hr west of Laramie). I can deliver if not too far from south central Wyoming (please email your location for a quote).
