Belmont Wood Mahagony

1964 Belmont wooden boat. Split seats, custom built. I bought the boat in rough condition. I replaced the mahogany wood planking. Recovered the seats and upholstery New carpet, chromed all the exterior metal parts, had the 283 Chev V-8 rebuilt and installed. Hand applied 21 coats of marine varnish on the wood surfaces. Put on chrome spoke wheels, new tires, repainted the trailer, put new carpet on the trailer skids, new gauges, steering wheel, horn, fuel tank. I bought the boat for a project to keep busy in the winter months. That was 10 years ago. I haven't done anything with it for 2 years, so it's time to let it go and get another project. The only problem with boat is that the engine is too heavy for a boat this size. Beautiful boat and I had a lot of fun with it.
