I reluctantly am listing the coolest vintage Bell Boy with a 50 hp Mercury motor; BIG PRICE REDUCTION. A real bargain if you know Bell boys. I need to put the money into my business. This show quality boat was restored by Rob Dapron (Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society). Described as PRISTINE in a feature article in Boating World Magazine, I have extensive documentation, photos of restoration and letters from the top local classic boat mechanics describing the boat to be in great mechanical condition. I have 8 year old twins that love to get pulled around the lake a few times every summer, the boat is currently winterized or shrink wrapped for transport. She is 14 long (18 long counting the trailer and outboard motor).
Rob did a great job on the restoration; he used Interlux Brightside polyurethane for the hull and deck. Other boaters frequently take pictures when I take this boat out of the garage. She tops out at about 30 on smooth water, our elevation is almost 5000 feet, if you were looking for more performance, an inexpensive fin can be put on the outboard, I like to keep it classic and I am satisfied with how she glides. These early boats do have a shallow hull compared to modern boats, so you have to take it easy in rough water. I dont ever take it out unless it is a perfect day. The trailer is in equally great shape, this boat has been stored indoors since restoration. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, I am not very mechanical- I just like to relax on the water Dave phone
Great boat to pull with a classic car or vintage pick-up truck. Pulls easily. Gets more attention at a show than the classic vehicle towing it. Great fins.
Prefer $500 down payment via PayPal and remaining purchase price on pick-up or shipping arrangement. Can hold for a few weeks while arrangements are made with deposit. I am close to I-15 for easy shipping and also I 80 for Lake Tahoe and Colorado
Questions
Do you still have your banshee for sale? I have one very similar that needs to be restored like yours. I would love to see it if you still have it. If not I would like to know what it took to get it restored like yours. It might be cheaper to buy yours than to restore mine. Thanks for your reply. My boat currently resides in Kirkland wa and I have owned it for 35 years.
